✿ about eliza pedder ✿ (She/Her)

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT127595), with a speciality in EMDR, Somatic healing, and mindfulness and meditation. I hold a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of San Francisco and a bachelor’s degree from UC Davis. I have experience working with individuals, families, and couples on the Medical Surgery Unit and Trauma Intensive Care Unit at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. At the hospital, I provided brief and longer term therapy and crisis intervention. I have also worked with kids, teens, adults, and families at Blackhawk Family Development Center, where I provided long-term psychotherapy.

I bring my whole heart to this work and am deeply committed to helping my clients heal and grow. Therapy lights me up and I truly believe in the human potential to transform from the inside out. I have gone through my own deep healing journey and continue each day to soften into this human experience with love and tenderness. As a yoga teacher of 7 years, I bring a mindful here-and-now approach to therapy. I work from a holistic, somatic, transpersonal, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and self-compassion framework.

Outside of my role as a therapist, I am a yogi, avid hiker and traveler, plant-based restaurant aficionado, spa enthusiast, and animal and nature lover.
